Pastor Jack and Christina Osteen along with their
two boys Jeremiah and Jonathan moved from Western
Nebraska to Cincinnati in January 2004. Knowing
no one, they accepted the call of God to begin
Lifeline Community Church in the inner city of
Cincinnati.
Lifeline began in a church building that once belonged to another church. There were about 15 people that remained from the old church. In March 2004, Lifeline Community Church had its launch. Lifeline Community Church has really become heavily involved in it’s neighborhood, sponsoring many outreach events such as Positive Presence In The Park, Holyween, and Kid’s Games.
Lifeline has and continues to shine the Light of God’s love and grace into the darkness of the inner-city streets. In November 2007, Lifeline took a big step of faith. Lifeline left it’s existing building and is now meeting in a public school each week. Lifeline is making a difference one person at a time!
