What is it?

One of the major losses for young men in modern times was once common throughout much of history. Significant moments put on by a community where young boys take intentional steps into responsibility and accountability with other men. These moments have come to be called “Rites of Passage”. Moments where you walk in as one person and walk out another.

Not that you have “changed” but now, expectations for your life are different. Not only from those around you, but you also have a new and different expectation of yourself.

The boys in our generation desperately need a clear moment where they are no longer looked at as kids but have confidently stepped into manhood. What and how a man functions comes later, but a moment where they say “today” I am no longer going to act as a kid but live in the responsibility of being a man.

Feb 27th, 2026 we will be hosting our 3rd annual Passage Night. This event is for fathers, mentors and young men aged 14-18, to empower the next generation of boys as they grow into manhood. This evening is designed to encourage, challenge, and build into young boys to step into what God has for them as young men. Our hope is to not only empower boys to follow Jesus further, but also empower dads and mentors to invest in those in their care in new ways.

What To Expect

This night is designed around creating key moments where other men can speak life into young boys.

This night will start out with a short personal teaching for the dad/mentor and youth followed by instruction for the designated trail. Through the path there will be different stations speaking towards what it means to be a man. Following the trail there will be different stations for the youth to reflect on what they experienced on the trail. Once all those who have walked the trail complete it, there will be a short teaching, moment of blessing, then followed by a meal.

There will be parkers to show you where to park and where to go.

Simply bring yourself and the person you have registered. If you are registering your child or someone aged 14-18 to participate, the registration form will give key details as well.
