Big Faith - We lean on the authority of scripture. This makes us faith-filled, big thinking people who are willing to “risk it” to see His Kingdom come.
Authenticity - We are real people following a real God. We are united around our belief in Jesus and what He says is right and true then applying this to life.
Community - We will do whatever it takes to reach people who don’t know Christ. To reach people no one is reaching, we have to do things no one is doing.
Generosity - We lead the way with irrational generosity because we truly believe it is more blessed to give than receive. (Time, Talent, Treasure)
Empowering Leaders - We don’t recruit volunteers, we release leaders. We raise up the next generation of world changers.
Excellence - We remove obstacles and create opportunities for people to find Jesus so He can do what only He can do.
In essential beliefs - we have unity.
In non-essential beliefs - we have liberty.
In all our beliefs - we show charity.
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily.

The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of faith for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error.

People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God's Creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin." This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in life.

On Marriage
Our culture has lowered its standards on divorce and sex outside of marriage, but we believe both are sinful. God’s design is one man and one woman, committed for life, with sexual faithfulness in marriage. Divorce is only allowed in cases of sexual immorality, and even then, only after serious spiritual guidance. We urge everyone at Lifeline to avoid any romantic situations that could lead to sexual temptation. While culture may shift, we stand firm in truth and respond to sin with love, repentance, forgiveness, and restoration.
On Homosexuality
We believe God loves all people, including those who sin sexually, and we are called to love them too. However, we hold firmly that homosexual behavior is a sin and goes against God’s design. Marriage, as defined by God, is between one man and one woman for life. Like any other sin, homosexuality should be met with love, but also with a call to repent and follow God’s ways. We will not compromise on this truth.
On Gender
We believe God created people as male or female. Rare medical conditions may make a person’s sex unclear at birth, and these cases should be handled with great care and medical guidance. Outside of those cases, confusion about gender is a result of a broken, sinful world. Trying to change one’s biological sex through surgery or medication goes against God’s design. These situations call for loving care and biblical counseling.

Salvation is God's free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement of good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer or forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
